The increased need for vital substances with high physical strain often cannot be met by today's conventional diet. Shattered, feeble and without endurance?
A disturbed acid-bases balance puts a strain on the metabolism, has a negative effect on muscle function and prolongs the recovery phase in athletically active people. Listlessness, lassitude and loss of performance are the unwelcome consequences of excess acidity, principally for athletes. Muscular cramp and tension likewise occur with such excess acidity, just like sore muscles on the day after training. All that can only be prevented if the excess acids are regularly neutralised with alkaline mineral substances and the alkali stores are replenished before and after sport which makes you sweat.

Athletes need more!
Athletes are particularly prone to excess acidity. This is due on the one hand to the fact that they eat more and also absorb more acid-forming proteins with the additional food. On the other hand, their metabolism is stimulated by the intensive physical strain, on account of which increased acids are formed. At the same time the body loses many alkaline vital substances with the sweat that are no longer available to neutralise excessive acids.

Recommended dose: Stir 2 level measuring spoons of Basis Balance SPORT into 300 ml of water twice a day. BASIS BALANCE SPORT is drunk in the mornings and evenings. Suggestion: the increased fluid requirement during sport can be best met with diluted fruit juices such as apple juice spritzer.
